Aroma palette is woody, boozy, and fresh with touches of floral . Highlights include antique cedar wood, oak barrel aged rum, vanilla bean, Bulgarian rose, candied orange, and marigold flowers.

This mystical fragrance is inspired by the altars that are set during the autumn months. It's a gorgeous, ever-morphing aroma story of the offerings we leave to our ancestors and the spirits that walk with us. This blend opens with a freshly poured glass of aged rum which quickly reveals the unmistakable scent of Florida Water, freshly picked bundles of marigold flowers, a touch of Bulgarian rose absolute, and candied orange. After all of the offerings have revealed themselves, this fragrance settles into a soft melange of candied citrus with light florals atop an antique cedar wood base.

Artists note: This blend is 80% botanical and was originally crafted for ritual purposes. It’s on the very low end of longevity (several hours at most). You will wish to apply more frequently as part of your personal ritual.

What Are Perfume Oils?

Please note that these are not fragrance oils; they are perfume oils (artisan perfumes presented in oil format). They are meant to be worn on the skin and are not suitable for wax warmers, oil burners, or aroma diffusers. The only difference between our perfume oils and Eau de Parfums is the oil format. Many people prefer perfume oils because they wear close to the skin and unfold a bit more non-linearly than Eau de Parfums. About Perfume Oils

Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate whatsoever. Always test perfumes on your body for the full experience.

Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.

Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears close to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.

Not recommended for those who are pregnant or nursing, children, or pets. Always patch test for potential allergies before applying liberally.

Candied Citrus Woodsy Goodness!

As soon as I applied this scent to my skin I got a delicious Rum scent followed very closely by a slight Florida Water note, then Candied Oranges. This concoction of notes stayed for quite a while before I started to get a faint Marigold Flower note, but it was fleeting. On the dry down, the fragrance took on a stronger Candied Orange scent that was complimented by a Cedar Wood note. The scent became a little bit creamy as well (maybe a little bit of the Vanilla Bean coming through?) I really loved this fragrance as the Candied Orange was very present but not overpowering. It was sweet but not too citrusy. I especially loved the dry down and how it started to get creamy smelling. Sadly, as stated in the fragrance description, because this fragrance is an 80% botanical blend, it's longevity is minimal. Other than that, I highly recommend this fragrance!!!
