Aroma palette is earthy, resinous, and smoky. Highlights include holy water, juniper and cedar incense smoke, melted candle wax, aged myrrh resin, lilies, and deep aged labdanum.
Cathedral Noir is a deep, dark, smoky fragrance that conjures visions of long forgotten prayers echoing in the shadowy alcoves of an ancient cathedral. It begins with thick wafts of juniper and cedar incense smoke and reveals a quick phantom of the metallic tang of holy water as it begins to dry down. On the dry down, it unveils the remains of thick melted candle wax, lilies, billowing bowls of aged myrrh resin, labdanum, and hints of fire.
This is a deep, dark fragrance that feels like opening a vial of ancient shadows. It's a shadowy journey through thick wafts of smoky incense, opulent aged resins, and the eerie yet comforting darkness of long forgotten sacred places.
Artists note: This blend opens very smoky with a true bonfire aroma. Allow it a few minutes to unfold on the skin to experience all of its shades and nuances.
Cathedral Noir is a fragrance composed of approximately 90% natural materials. Presented in a 5ml amber apothecary bottle.
