Crafted to evoke visions of an evil queen, this highly unusual blend melds together the unexpected to create a spooky yet beautiful brew. At the outset, this fragrance billows with a deep red vintage merlot before revealing deep earthy greens and extra light patchouli. On the drydown, an eerie vintage perfume emerges to cast away the darker notes with a floral amber tinged with the subtle metallic/wrought iron note of an ancient mirror. The merlot and earthy notes are sustained throughout, giving the blend an overall eerie feel.  Close your eyes and be transported to the castle chambers of the evil queen herself. 

Presented in a 5ml amber apothecary bottle with dropper cap.

Highly unusual! The more I smell it, the more I love it!!!!!

Straight out of the gate I got a strong Merlot scent followed closely by a very green scent mixed faintly with patchouli. The patchouli is almost undetectable as it blends so well with the green notes. These mingle beautifully together for quite a while. As the dry down occurs, maybe 30 mins or so in, I get a faint metallic scent. The Merlot is still there but not as prominent as it was. The green is still very present and mixes well with the faint metallic scent. Sadly I did not get any amber from this one on my skin. This perfume is unusual and I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first. Surprisingly, everything blends together so well and compliments each other to make a beautiful dark and gothic fragrance. I can see this working for both men and women. A true unisex fragrance. I got this one in the Autumn sampler set. I would definitely purchase a full bottle.

Maleficent

This smells like what I imagine Maleficent would smell like. Definitely an old fashioned perfume with an sinister spin. I love that you can actually smell the mirror note in this after a little while. Everything from this house is so unique and the descriptions are very accurate.

Vintage perfume gone evil queen

Every stage of this is gorgeous. Definitely reminiscent of the traditional perfumes with the soft patchouli, light amber and oakmoss fougere. The top note is a beautiful red wine and mossy, loamy concoction that morphed beautifully at every stage to land in a gothy spin on classic vintage perfume. Loving this so much!
