Please note that the 2010 version of this fragrance will be retiring on September 1.

Aroma palette is dark, earthy, and floral. Highlights include black roses, lily, fireplace smoke, leather, dragons blood, incense, and honey.

This haunting rose-based floral begins with a bouquet of black roses, petals tinged with the faintest remnants of fireplace smoke. As it dries down it reveals deep, earthy leather and dragonsblood incense slowly dancing with withering lilies and a swirl of soft honey.

This is an earthy, leathery rose blend with a dark, ever changing aura accented by powdery florals. A perfect choice for rose lovers who enjoy their roses dark and reminiscent of vintage perfumes.

Ingredients

Fractionated coconut oil, fragrance.

*We use skin-healthy fractionated coconut oil as a diluent for our oil-based fragrances due to it's non-greasy texture, odorlessness, stability, resistance to oxidation, and unparalleled shelf life.

*Our fragrances are composed of the highest quality essential oils, plant extracts, phthalate free synthetics, house-made accords, absolutes, resins, c02s, isolates, aroma chemicals, professional perfumery bases, and unique compositions crafted by the artist.

What Are Perfume Oils?

Please note that these are not fragrance oils; they are perfume oils (artisan perfumes presented in oil format). They are meant to be worn on the skin and are not suitable for wax warmers, oil burners, or aroma diffusers. The only difference between our perfume oils and Eau de Parfums is the oil format. Many people prefer perfume oils because they wear close to the skin and unfold a bit more non-linearly than Eau de Parfums. For a more in-depth look at perfume oils, please peruse our knowledge base articles.

About Perfume Oils

Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate whatsoever. Always test perfumes on your body for the full experience.

Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.

Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears close to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.

Not recommended for those who are pregnant or nursing, children, or pets. Always patch test for potential allergies before applying liberally.

Oh my…

I was actually looking for another scent by the same name (Vampire Romance) but this is what came up in my search. I was skeptical about buying the oil blind, but did so anyway. Oh my…You know you have found your signature scent when you realize that this is how you are supposed to smell and nothing else will do. This is such a soft, poignant scent that will perhaps remind you of unrequited love from the past. I’m not going to be able to wear anything else ever again. This is how I am supposed to smell…

Just Stunning

I've been looking for a rose based scent that didn't smell fake or too cloying and this is it. It has this deep rose scent that is unlike most rose based smells. It's kind of powdery without being too old fashioned. Like...the perfect amount of old fashioned. I can't stop smelling myself, haha. It's a gorgeous smell, and I feel so powerfully female wearing it.

Absolutely enchanting!

I’m in love with Vampire Romance! It’s an absolutely gorgeous scent. The first thing I noticed on applying was the rose and leather, which pair so incredibly well together. There are a few other scents I’d like to try, but this might just become my signature scent.

Otherworldly vampire romance

I've been using this for years now, its my favorite, so romantic and mystical. I think the name of this fragrance captures its essence perfectly, it smells like love in otherworldly realms. Its a sensual, sexy, dark fragrance, but not spicy or sweet or overpowering. It dries down to be powdery and there is a specific sexy sweetness to it, the lingering subtle honey on skin when it dries down. Its like wearing beautiful lingerie and sitting on a leather chair and breathing in the scent of of dusty full bloom roses and smoke. Reminds me of twilight zones, HIM's Love Metal album, leather and lace, Anne Rice books. Its what you would want your skin to smell like when a vampire nuzzles your neck. It doesn't smell like before or after sex, but rather the in-between state of seduction where time doesn't exist. Its so unique that you can wear it any season of year, day or night, the perfume fits more a hopeless romantic mysterious soul rather than season, time or place. I feel myself the most when I wear this fragrance and my friends have commented on it. If you are a 90's goth, you will love this one, Vampire Romance smells sophisticated and elegant, as we goths are all grown up, I am 33 years old. Its like aged wine, it allows you to be true to your goth self without smelling like a teenager. Reminds me of the 90s and early 2000s vampire culture but more luxurious. Thank you!

Pleasantly Unusual!

This is a lovely, very unusual fragrance! I can't identify the individual notes, everything seems to blend together creating a mysteriously, haunting fragrance for me. This is one that I'll let sit for a while & can't wait to see how it matures!!
